As some of you will have noticed and as I mentioned in my last blog, I'd started branching out in IRC again, talking to old friends, trying to find my spot in the world I had left behind. But I realised something tonight, something that should have
been obvious to me, but apparently I still needed to be shown it again. I can no longer fit into that world, it has long since accepted my departure and moved on without me. To quote "the world I knew is gone".
I suppose I should not be surprised and to be honest I'm not. As a species we move on from things, we forget the past and look to the future, I suppose in some way I had hoped I could have a place in that future, but obviously that is not the case. I
made my decision and must live with the consequences, for better or worse I am Vladisvok and Vladisvok I will always be.
One day I'll learn my lesson I'm sure, one day I'll be able to stay a "safe" distance away from any community I do join, to play the game but not become "involved" in it, but apparently Cybernations is not that game and today is not that day. Perhaps given more
time it will become one, just as Wireplay did. Eventually I was able to walk away from that without feeling the need to return for those that I missed, those that I still cared about, hopefully Cybernations will fade into the background of my life as I find more
challenges to keep me interested, new areas to explore, new worlds to invade (I've still got to be Vlad afterall :) ).
We'll be cutting our blog portion short today as I know Vesta is eager to see if he made it into 2nd place this week :) let us therefore proceed to the regular segments....

Announcing todays silver trophy.....Cora/Ceasre (Vlad) for 'two better than one' - Coras first entry into the competition
But todays gold trophy goes to.....Vesta/Kyoto for 'call the cops' - Kyotos second entry and first gold
Unfortunatly Vesta got gold in todays competition, so todays rankings now show:
1st Place: Vladisvok with 21 points across 10 showings - up 2 points and 1 showing
2nd Place: Vesta with 18 points across 9 showings - Up 3 points, 1 showing and to 2nd place
3rd Place: Cyphon with 16 points across 7 showings - Fallen to 3rd place
Honourable Mention: Nici with 15 points across 9 showings - No change
So Vesta closes the gap on first and nici still looks set to take over 3rd place, tune in next time to see what happens :o
