Well, it has been brought to my attention that we have received some new readers as of late, some of them from the most unexpected corners of the world, to those of you just joining us: welcome to
my weekly rambling madness, a trail of thoughts that few travel and even fewer would be able to find their way along.
Of course new readers sometimes bring up old memories, memories such as comments made in the first blog on this site, specifically the quote "As I have made a lot of mistakes,
upset a lot of people, hurt a lot of people (the first comment is not necessarily linked to the second and third)", a comment which still holds true today, but is not one to apply to every situation,
there are some times where the first comment is linked to the other two and those are perhaps the situations I'm thinking about now.
As with some of the other things I've said in this blog, the people who know me solely as Vladisvok might find that hard to believe, that it could be a mistake for me to upset or hurt someone, but it
can happen. I'm not going to sit here and go into details, probably because there are so many situations where this might be true and most of them probably don't belong posted in public for all to see,
but none the less, they deserve some form of attention, some measure of attempting to "make amends" for past wrongs.
Now don't get me wrong, most of the people I've upset or hurt I do not feel bad for and most of them probably did deserve it, but that does not mean there are those out there who have not been unfairly
wronged by my actions.
And so the question becomes how to set things right? How can one right wrongs so old? Some of the people I will probably never see again, never talk to again, never have the chance to say what should be said,
to do what should be done. To go out there and try to contact them all would end rather badly, some of them would probably not want to hear from me again, regardless of what I had to say. So I suppose the
solution is a slightly less direct one...
To all those I have wronged unfairly, for all the mistakes I made that hurt so many people, for all the things I wish I could take back, I apologise to all of them. While I know that most of them will
probably never see this page and will never know my intent, perhaps this statement will offer some small comfort to those who read it and who know it applies to them...
Oh well, enough of this old man rambling on, lets have some QoTD.
