Vladisvok Destino's thoughts: Your world

Ok, this one is going to probably be a bit of a rant at your species in general, coupled with random observations and probably a bit of moaning, so if that doesn't sound right for you feel free to skip this one and come back when I make the next post.

Do you people ever consider how odd your world seems to those of us outside it? I mean, you have some very strange beliefs, values, laws, rules, social parameters and just generally, it's a very confusing and stressful world for those of us who find ourselves observing it. In some ways this is an extention of the last blog but a bit wider in it's scope. Previously I was focusing purely on your species strange attachment to money, now I'm looking at generally how odd your world is.

You hold such attachment to material goods that have no real value, or that have monetary value but not any value to you as a person, does it matter if you have the newest, flashest car? The fastest, most powerful computer? The biggest, most wasteful house? No, you could spend that money on so much more that matters, but instead you waste it on these stupid status symbols to try and make yourself look better than someone else, someone who probably is much more successful than you simply because they do not spend so much on things that are so worthless.

Your legal systems place so much emphasis on the idea that you should help the offender, not punish them. The person has commited a crime, they should be punished, you shouldn't think "oh, but it isn't their fault", it is their fault, they should take responsiblity for their actions. The primary responsibility of the legal system should be to protect the population, not to wrap criminals in cotton wool, there is no deterent in your world for these people anymore.

You put so much effort into being friendly to people you can barely stand, just be honest for once, if you don't like someone tell them, if you think someones an idiot tell them they're an idiot. I cannot stand about 95% of your species and I will make no secret of it when one of you is in that 95%, because simply you are not worth the effort to be fake nice to. Diplomacy and Tact are tools for those who are afraid to be truthful and they show a weakness that permeates every element of your society.

What is it about your species that makes you so afraid to be yourselves, to act as you wish, to do what you know you want to do, you fear the judgement of your peers, of society, of a species that is afraid of it's own true nature.



Now to be clear, I have no inherent issue with the cowardly nature your species has adopted, if you want to act like this then it's not my problem, but do not dare to judge me when I reject your pathetic world. If a person is an idiot then I will call them a god damn idiot, if you take offense at it, you're probably an idiot too.

You people honestly have no idea how stressful it is to try and walk in your world, to have to be nice to people that quite frankly don't deserve to be alive, to shake someones hand when what you really want to do is kick their teeth down their throat, then you have the nerve to ask me why I'm always pissed off, always stressed out, always angry...how can I be anything else in this joke of a world you have created for people to have to live in?

Let me make this clear to you people, I am the Dread Lord Vladisvok Destino, I do not do "nice" when people are too stupid to be allowed to live, I will not protect someone because they're an idiot, I will not waste my time trying to fit into your world when your world is such a pathetic cowards paradise. You screw with me, it will end badly for you, nothing is off limits, I will destroy everything that you hold to be good and true in your world and what's more I will damn well laugh as I do it, everything that you "wouldn't wish on your worst enemy" is everything that I will do if you dare to cross me.
